Life-sized Illustration Captures Attention

Bluewater Yachts experienced an all-time record number of enthusiasts viewing their booth at the 2007 Miami International Boat Show and sales increased significantly from last year's show. In addition to 58-foot and 52-foot models, Bluewater displayed a unique "life-sized illustration" of its newest model, the Legacy 65. Its extraordinary team created a digitally-enhanced artist's rendering that stretched 18-feet by 65-feet across the booth's exhibit space and was durable enough to walk on! This unique display drew much attention from show-goers in the isles as well as the media.

The Legacy 65 by Bluewater is the company's most extraordinary and beautiful yacht ever built. This model brings Bluewater into new levels with its near 18' beam and 6' freeboard which make way for new and exciting interior design capabilities as well as huge upper deck space. The upper deck of this magnificent yacht features additional interior access from the salon and conversational-style seating to accommodate the ultimate in entertaining and socializing! The new lower-level TV room with additional sleeping accommodations is also a new innovation which can be customized to fit each boater's unique lifestyle.

This yacht was designed with the same Bluewater elegance and quality as its entire line. The Legacy 65 boasts a very spacious new-style salon with huge window space for an open view, full-sized galley, bar and dining area, two heads and sleeping accommodations for nine! This model is equipped with twin 510 HP Caterpillar Diesel engines or 540 HP Cummins Diesel engines.

The unmatched responsive performance of the Legacy 65 is made possible by the same Guardian Power Recessed Drive system, low center of gravity and reverse chines built into all the Bluewater hulls. High and sturdy safety rails and mid-yacht entry are standard Bluewater items also featured in the Legacy 65.

August, 2005

Always raising the bar in its custom capabilities, Bluewater now offers a beautiful blue-color hull. The Bluewater 5200 model was the first built with this special order hull. She was proudly presented at the 2005 Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show. As Bluewater's most popular model, the 5200 is exceptionally accommodating with its spacious one-level living, fully-equipped galley with full-size appliances, very comfortable dining area and an open and spacious salon with panoramic windows. This model has queen size beds and full-size heads with tub and shower along with amenities rivaling the finest yachts.

Bluewater Yachts has always had safety and comfort in mind when designing its beautiful yachts. Hand-built craftsmanship combines with cutting-edge technology to culminate in a uniquely designed product. Since the current hull design was introduced, Bluewater has remained true to its vision: producing motor yachts with stability, versatility and easy maneuverability. Bluewater's rough water capabilities in combination with its unusually shallow draft make it a versatile boat for both turbulent waters and sandy inland waterways. Bluewater is "Different by Design".

The Bluewater unique cruising experience is afforded by the Guardian Power Recessed Drive system, shallow draft as low as 23", low center of gravity and reverse chines.

* Modified V-planing hull facilitates quick planing action

* Heavily flared, sharp entry bow is set at a steep angle that rakes sharply forward to the molded bow pulpit.

* The hull begins with a wave-cutting, 45 degree entry in the forefoot that resolves to a 7 degree deadrise at the transom.

* Reverse chines on the outer edge of the hull capture the energy of the sea underneath the hull for exceptional stability and solid lift.

* The Guardian Lift straight-ahead power provides quicker planing, greater prop speed and better fuel efficiency.
